Reformass
IMPORTANT: If you haven't attended a Reformass session before, you must go through the instruction, so we are waiting for you 15 minutes before the start of the training. If you miss the instruction, we cannot allow you to participate in the training. Reformass is a signature functional training in a circular format that combines exercises using the legendary Reformer machine, weight training, and mat exercises. In particular, the workout includes exercises on the Reformer, which will teach you to thoughtfully control and feel your body. The Reformer was invented by German Joseph Pilates, who in the 1920s created the world-famous Pilates exercise system. Special attention is given to controlling proper body alignment and movement awareness. Our functional workout combines: - exercises on the innovative Reformer machine, which develop coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength, and teach core muscle control, - strength work with kettlebells or dumbbells, - bodyweight exercises. The Reformer consists of a frame and a movable carriage fixed with springs. Depending on the number of springs and the resistance they provide, the carriage can move with more or less effort. While working out, you engage not only when stretching the spring but also when releasing it. It helps control and slow down the movements, which is very good for our body. Thus, you learn the proper organization of the body in space and develop a more mindful approach to your joints. Reformass is the "golden mean" that allows you to become aware of and control your body while training in a sufficiently active format. The workout is done in rubberized socks. You must bring a small towel. Suitable for all fitness levels.
